Stuffed Peppers

The funny about this recipe is that I wasn’t a big fan of peppers. I think it was because I don’t digest peppers so well, but I realized in my case, I don’t digest raw peppers, if it is cooked, OKAY! ;)

This recipe is easy-peasy and kids love it! Let’s do it?

Ingredients (for 10 shells):

5 Peppers (the colors you want and like)

½ onion

1 clove garlic

1 ½ pound ground turkey, chicken or beef

Olive oil

Pink Himalayan salt

Parmesan cheese

How to make:

Turn the oven to 350 F.

Cut the peppers in half and clean the inside. Put the peppers in a pan with a little bit of water to cook. Cook in a medium heat with all the peppers shells facing down for 5 minutes and with the lid on. Then after, turn all the peppers shells up and cook for more 5 minutes. Check if the shells are already cooked, otherwise cook a little bit more. When ready, remove from the pan and let them sit face down on paper towel to dry.

In the meanwhile, slice the onions and cook them for about 5 minutes with olive oil and then add the garlic, smashed. Cook a little bit more and then add the meat and cook until done, then add the salt.

Add 2 table spoons of the meat into the peppers shells and add parmesan cheese on the top, as much as you desired.

Bake for about 15-20 minutes. Done!
