Peanut Butter Cup - Healthy Version

I looove peanut butter cups! They are not so sweet and is also full of great fat to nourish your body in a healthy delicious way.


This recipe is so easy and can be done in less than 30 minutes. Perfect for snacks, for kids to take to school and for sweet tooth moment. Here it goes!


Ingredients (for 10 cups):


Bottom Layer:

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

  • ¼ cup all-natural peanut butter or any nut butter you prefer

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp coconut sugar, honey or maple syrup

Top Layer:

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

  • ¼ cup all-natural peanut butter or any nut butter you prefer

  • 2 tsp Shredded coconut coconut

  • Set up a tray with 10 muffin cups.

How to make:

Melt the coconut oil for the bottom layer and then mix all ingredients together until smooth.


Then, add a tablespoon of this mixture to each cup.


Put the tray in the freezer on a flat surface and freeze until solid around 10 minutes).

While you wait them to freeze, melt the coconut oil for the top layer until and add all the ingredients until smooth.


Get the tray from the freezer and add this top layer (1 tablespoon) on the top of the bottom layer which will be already solid.


Put the tray back to the freezer and freeze until solid (more 10 minutes). Done! But remember to store them in your fridge, otherwise they will melt quickly!
