Go gluten free
Gluten causes inflammation on the body and besides that, going on a gluten-free diet can reduce significantly the pelvic pain.
Increase omega-3 fats intake
Found on fatty fish and other animal and plant sources (like flaxseed oil, primrose oil), omega-3 fats have anti-inflammatory benefits and can help reducing pain and inflammation.
Eat real food and fruits, vegetables and whole grains
Prepare your own food (and therefore avoid trans fats and bad oils – canola, soy, corn oil – from processed foods) and make sure to fill your plate with a combination of these foods and then your diet will be packed with essential nutrients and minimizes your intake of empty calories.
Reduce red meat
Once again, another food related to inflammation (specially processed food and not grass-fed). Also, some studies suggest that a high intake of red meat may be associated with higher levels of estrogen in the blood and since endometriosis is an estrogen-dependent disease, higher levels of estrogen in the blood may increase the risk of the condition.
