Baked Pears


Fruits are yum. Fruits are sweet. Besides that, fruit provide us fiber (when eating the fruit, not only the juice) and micronutrients essential to our bodies. But at the same time, eating some fruits can make us bloated, or even sick when consuming them during winter time.


That is why this dessert is so perfect! Not only this dessert is warm, it has cinnamon and ginger, which help to warm our body internally, helping the digestion and boost your metabolism..

Ingredients:

- Pear (you can also use apple)

- Cinnamon, powder

- Ginger, powder

- Butter, Ghee or regular

- Almond flakes

- You can add some raw honey too after baking them. But for me, the fruit is enough. ;)

How to make:

Pre-heat the oven to 400 F.

Slice the pear or apple in half. Remove the seeds and the center, creating a small hole.

Spread some butter on the top of the slices and the sprinkle cinnamon and ginger on the top.

Take to the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Then turn the sides down and cook for more 10 minutes. Turn the sides up and cook for more 5-10 minutes.
